CLEVELAND — Josh Cribbs began to say his goodbyes to Cleveland on Twitter Wednesday night.

He reflected that sentiment with an Instagram collage of his pictures on the field and in the community.
“So if its (sic) my time to go, at least it’s in good hands,” he wrote.
Cribbs has been with the Browns for eight seasons and has been to three Pro Bowls.
As of Wednesday night, Cribbs’ agent denied that any kind of deal was in place.
“I’m not optimistic that things are going in my favor as far as staying with the team,” said Cribbs two weeks ago before signing autographs at the Cleveland Auto Show. “And, that’s just my take on things. A whole new regime coming in, me having to prove myself to this regime off of a year that I didn’t really play any offense. And it’s all about productivity, and looking at that, productivity in the offense, special teams was average, it doesn’t look good for me in their eyes.”
Despite that, he would welcome a return to the team.
“I want to play for the Browns. I don’t want to play for any other team, that whole process sucks,” said Cribbs.
