CLEVELAND, Ohio — Colt McCoy is headed west.
The Cleveland Browns Monday acquired two undisclosed 2013 draft choices from the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for quarterback Colt McCoy and an undisclosed 2013 pick, according to the team.
McCoy was a third-round pick by the Browns in 2010 and started 21 of his 24 career games, according to the Browns.
He completed 409 of 702 career passes for 4,388 yards with 21 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He registered a 6-15 record as a starter.
McCoy will join former Brown Phil Dawson in San Francisco.
