CLEVELAND– For the 14th time in the past 15 seasons, the Browns will open the regular season at FirstEnergy Stadium when they host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m.
“Our coaches and players are eagerly anticipating that opening kickoff against Miami as we continue to build our team this off-season,” said Browns Head Coach Rob Chudzinski in a release from the team Thursday night. “Opening the regular season at home against the Dolphins will be great for our fans and our football team,” said Browns CEO Joe Banner.
The 2013 schedule features one prime time game as the Browns face the Buffalo Bills at FirstEnergy Stadium on Thursday, October 3. The last time the Browns hosted a prime time Thursday night affair was back in the Eric Mangini era when the Browns beat the Steelers.
For the fifth time in six seasons, the Browns will face the defending Super Bowl Champions as they square off with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2 and Week 9 action.
